The grids

What each day holds

Every Griductive grid is self-contained. A cast of suspects, each secretly criminal or innocent, and a web of clues that reveal themselves as you make correct calls. You don't need to solve in order — pick any date and deduce that grid fresh. The logic stands alone.

Weekday grids open easy. Monday and Tuesday are quick reads. The deductions tighten through midweek, and the weekend grids ask you to chain more clues before the case cracks.

Archive FAQ

Questions about past grids

How far back does the archive go?
To June 1, 2026, and it grows by one grid every midnight Eastern. The most recent 7 days are open to everyone; subscribers can reopen any grid in the archive.
Are the older grids the hard ones?
No — the reverse, and by a deliberate decision. Every grid published so far is built at tricky or below, however far back you go, because the weekend rungs were held down while people were still learning to read the clues. The full range opens on 1 August 2026. Until then Sunday is still the week's peak, but the peak itself is capped.
Does a grid change if I come back to it later?
Never. A date's grid is fixed at midnight Eastern that day — same cast, same clues, same answer, whenever you reopen it.
Do rejected calls work the same on an old grid?
Identically. Archive grids run through the same engine as today's, so a verdict the clues don't force is still declined rather than counted against you. Nothing about an old grid is more punishing — there is no fail state anywhere in the game.
How do I share a specific grid?
Every date has its own URL. Open a grid from the calendar and the address bar is the link — send it on and it always opens that grid.
