What do I get with a subscription?

Two main things today: full access to our archive of past puzzles and early access to new games before they're released to everyone else. The daily puzzle stays free forever. A subscription is also the most direct way to support a tiny independent puzzle studio.

Do weekend puzzles disappear on Monday?

Not for subscribers. With archive access you can keep chipping away at Saturday's brain-melter for as long as it takes. No timer, no pressure, no losing access just because the week rolled over.

Question 3

Monthly or yearly — what's the difference?

Accepted Answer

The features are identical. Monthly renews each month; yearly renews once a year and works out cheaper per month. Pick whatever fits your rhythm and your budget.

Does it auto-renew?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We'll charge you again at the end of each cycle unless you cancel. No surprises — it just keeps going until you ask it to stop.

What if I cancel?

Accepted Answer

You keep full access until the end of whatever cycle you paid for. Cancel on day two of a monthly subscription and you've still got the rest of the month with archive access.

How far back does the archive go?

Back to launch. We may add even older puzzles down the road, but we can't promise anything specific yet.

What does "early access to new games" mean?

When we launch a new puzzle type, subscribers get to play it first — sometimes weeks before it's rolled out to everyone. Think of it as being a founding player.

Are you adding more features?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We're working on quality-of-life things like replaying puzzles, solve-time tracking, pencil marks for working through tricky deductions, and other tools serious solvers have asked for. Most of those will live behind the subscription.

What about merch? Can I return it if something's wrong?

Reach out directly if you ever have an issue with merch. We don't run a formal returns process, but we'll make it right.

Why don't you have multiple puzzles a day?

Because we're not trying to keep you here forever. We want Knotwise to be a healthy daily ritual — something you look forward to, solve, feel good about, and then go live the rest of your day. The "just one more" treadmill isn't our thing. A small handful of thoughtfully designed puzzles is plenty.

Do you have an iOS or Android app?

Not yet, but we're listening. If a native app would meaningfully improve your day, drop us a note — it helps us prioritise. In the meantime, you can save Knotwise to your phone's home screen and it behaves almost exactly like an app.

Question 12

How do I put Knotwise on my home screen?

Accepted Answer

It takes about thirty seconds. On iPhone, open the site in Safari → tap the Share icon → "Add to Home Screen". On Android in Chrome, tap the three-dot menu → "Install app" or "Add to Home screen". Once it's there it opens like any other app — no browser bars, no distractions.

Do your puzzles have multiple solutions?

No. Every puzzle has exactly one solution. If you find two, something's gone wrong on our end — please let us know and we will dig in.

Did you invent these games?

Tilerdle is our own twist on classic tile-shuffling logic puzzles, and future games will follow the same spirit — taking pen-and-paper traditions and giving them a friendly daily home, with better onboarding and gentler difficulty curves.

Not technically a question, but we'll allow it. We love hearing from players — feature requests, wild puzzle concepts, or a small thing that's bugging you. Send us a message and a real human will read it and write back.
